I started my professional life in medicine, graduated from Medical School in 1981
and finished my doctoral thesis in 1986. Then I quit both medicine and science and
went to Art School in New York City (Parson's School of Design) and Amsterdam (Wackers Academy). Thereafter I worked in Amsterdam as an art-director and designer.
Since 2005 I work full time as a fine artist

I live both in the United States (Franklin, NY) and The Netherlands (The Hague) and show my work on both continents.
